We are seeking a Senior Contracts & Procurement Advisor to join our Integrated Projects team on a 1-year maximum term contract to support the contracts and procurement activities of MEPAU projects.

Job Description

Reporting to the Contracts & Procurement Lead you will:

  • Work efficiently and effectively within the end-to-end supply chain processes and systems.
  • Lead development of sourcing strategies in conjunction with stakeholders.
  • Prepare prequalification, tender documents as appropriate.
  • Critique technical scopes for tender packages and ensure they align with commercial contract documentation.
  • Lead negotiations, coordinate tender clarifications and undertake commercial evaluations.
  • Coordinate and lead the bid evaluation and prepare contract award documentation.
  • Draft and conform finalized contracts.
  • Compile regulatory reporting requirements.
  • Post award contract management as appropriate.
  • Undertake corporate Supply Chain functional duties as required (procedural updates, ts and cs updates etc.)
  • Assist with wider project functional tasks as required e.g. materials and logistical interface.

To be successful in this role, you will require the following skills and experience:

  • Relevant tertiary degree (e.g. economics, law, or supply chain management).
  • Minimum 5 years' experience within C&P in pre and post award C&P activities.
  • Oil and gas project procurement and construction contracts experience highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills with ability to lead and influence senior stakeholders.
  • Ability to make decisions with imprecise set of facts at disposal.   
  • Strong skills in drafting and negotiating terms and conditions.
  • Sound organizational skills, including multitasking, time-management and influencing without authority.
  • High level of proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite of programs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, high attention to detail.
